I caught my first Shiny Pokemon today. It was a Shiny Graveler. I did have one shiny Pokemon before but I didn’t catch it, I had lent my game to a neighbor kid at a Halloween party and 5 minutes later he caught a shiny Electrode.
I had my Hunter at the head of the party and was able to Hypnotize it, I was worried that it would self destruct and I would loose it.
Now I am thinking of move set and I am open to suggestions.
Its got a Naïve nature and I was thinking of these 4 moves.
• Earthquake
• Explosion
• Double Edge
• Stone Edge

Sadly, I've tried multiple times to catch a shiny using the new post-game Poke-Radar technique. I think someday I'll just spend an entire day just going for it.
ReplyDeleteI've only caught two Shiny Pokemon - a Zubat and a Geodude. (The Zubat was given away to a cool coworker, so I was down to one until some trades.)
I haven't tried out Double-edge - maybe if you have Rockhead, but now with the Move Tutor in Platinum, you could try out some different punches...maybe Fire Punch a Skarmory - doesn't that sound like fun?
